Coffee Anyone?

There are so many uses for old windows.  Here is one example of what to do with an older window.  This particular set had no chippy paint unfortunately, but had lots of character nonetheless.

I found some coffee cup clip art online, enlarged them and cut them out.  Also enlarged a font of my choice and cut that out as well.  The frosted glass comes from a spray can.  Great stuff.
This was the result.

  2. Hi Sherri!

    So glad you liked it.
I used this spray that I bought at Lowes. I believe its made by Valspar (their own brand) Its just called frosted glass. You can also find it in Home Depot. I used a glue stick to stick my paper to the window and then made sure I sprayed right dead on, not angled, (so nothing sprayed under any loose parts.
The spray worked great! I did very light layers. About 4 layers was enough.
Good luck with it.. its a fun project and very easy to do.

    Thanks for visiting !

  10. omg, that is just the thing for my son's house. His kitchen window over the sink faces the next door neighbor's kitchen window and they frequently find themselves face to face! It's rather unnerving. Hope you don't mind if i copy this idea for them. I just found your blog, I'm definitely gonna subscribe!
    Thanks,
    Rose
