I really love the old telephone tables and benches.
This was was an exceptional find as it was actually a bench rather than a chair.
Again, I really went for a vibrant colour. I knew I was going to glaze it down.
This was the red without the glaze.
This was after glazing. Beautiful!
(I'm so in love with my phony phone)
that glazing completely changes the color. i had no idea.

Just amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteI just found that exact bench in my favorite local junktique spot yesterday. I spent all of last evening thinking of it in our entry way. I think finding your blog post is a sign from God...right? I need to buy it!!! : )
ReplyDeleteI looks so much better in the red. And it really pops where you have it against the light floor and walls. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove it...that shade of red is soooo pretty!!!! Great blog you have here.

ReplyDeleteI love this deep red color! I've been thinking about doing something in a color like this. You just sealed the deal.
