Gobble Gobble!

It’s Thanksgiving weekend here in the Great White North!
My favourite holiday in my favourite season.
My  nightly baking has begun.  So in honour of Thanksgiving weekend I made Turkey Cake Pops.
Bakerella, my hat is off to you, because these little critters were NOT easy to make!

  1. Aww, they are adorable! And Happy Thanksgiving!!

Said in my best french accent, "Ignorant American!" I had no idea Canada celebrated Thanksgiving...and if I knew you did, I would have assumed it was at the same time as us. I learned something new today. :)

  2. I love these!!! SO CUTE~!! Almost too pretty to eat! I love that you have a break between Thanksgiving and Christmas...I would so like that better. We go straight from one to the other and now it seems that Thanksgiving is skipped altogether!

    Have a great Thanksgiving!

  5. I love them!! I do have a question since I am wanting to try the pumpkins for halloween. When you inserted the pretzels for the legs did you dip them into the candy prior to inserting them? Or do you just stick them in before the candy coating on the cake ball dries? Thanks!

  6. Butrflyness16 - Since I don't have your email, I will address your question here.

You have to dip them in the candy before insterting them, and also make sure you stick them in before the candy on the ball hardens. When you push them in just have a toothpick handy to make sure all the candy coating fills the gaps between the pretzel and the ball. It acts more like glue that way.

Have fun... they're exhausting to make, but fun!
